Privacy Choices

Version of September 25, 2026

General information

This page explains how a Timora user can manage, restrict and object to the processing of their personal data, withdraw consent and delete data. It supplements the Privacy Policy; terms have the meaning given to them in the Policy.

Menu paths are given for the Timora app for iPhone; menu item names are quoted as they appear in the app’s Russian interface. In the Android app and the Telegram and VK mini apps, the corresponding settings are located in the “Профиль” (Profile) section.

1. Using the Service without an account

No account is required to view schedules: it is enough to select an educational institution and a study group. In this case, no information identifying the user is stored on the server other than a random device identifier and server logs.

2. EIOS password

3. Location

Location is requested only for location-based class check-in and for route planning. You can deny access in iPhone Settings → Timora → Location → Never. Check-in with the code shown by the group leader is available without granting location access.

4. Notifications

5. Advertising

Advertising in Timora is not personalised: personal data is not used to select ads and is not shared with advertisers. To turn ads off: Profile → Settings → Timora → «Показывать рекламу» (Show ads); in the mini apps — Profile → «Показывать рекламу».

6. Attendance records

Participation in attendance records is voluntary. You can turn it off in Profile → Посещаемость (Attendance) → «Отмечаться на парах» (Check in to classes). Previously recorded attendance data is deleted upon account deletion or upon request to the Operator (Section 10).

7. Notes

8. Calendar, widget and data on the device

9. Linked accounts, signing out and account deletion

10. Requests to the Operator

The user may send the Operator a request for information about the processing of their personal data, for a copy of the data, or for the rectification, restriction or destruction of personal data, and may withdraw consent to processing. Requests are sent via Telegram @y0rence and must contain information that allows the user to be identified in the Service (for example, the Timora profile number or the linked Telegram account).

The Operator responds within 10 business days of receiving a request; this period may be extended by no more than 5 business days with a reasoned notice. Upon withdrawal of consent, personal data is destroyed within a period not exceeding 30 days.

The user may lodge a complaint about the Operator’s actions or omissions with Roskomnadzor (rkn.gov.ru) or with a court.
